Launching our new MOBL 2-in-1 blasting chamber in PaintExpo 2022 trade fair in Karlsruhe

April 2022 was the culmination of many months of work for Pekotek when we got to launch our new MOBL combination chamber in Karlsruhe, Germany. There were two agendas on the trip to Germany; Launch MOBL as a new product and to contact possible new potential resellers and partners in Germany and elsewhere in Europe and around the world.

The trip to Karlsruhe was scheduled to take place as early as 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the fair was postponed for two years. The trip and the atmosphere at the fair was memorable. How the world opens and how world situations have also affected the surface treatment industry was on everyone’s lips, but the return to normal sighed in the air as a relief at the four-day fair.

Discussions at the fair were really rewarding, as was interest in both our patented shot blasting system and our fully mobile MOBL chamber. Comments like “I’ve never seen anything like this” for the first time at such a big trade show for the stand holder are always positive and a relief.

At the fair, we also met our former customers from Finland and abroad. For me, this was the first time I had planned an international trade show and although next time it is being done much better, this time the end result was very rewarding. The department was stylish, and the trip as a whole was a success.
