Over the years, Pekotek Oy has delivered all of VR's surface treatment lines. At VR's plants, we started using 70-80% efficiency heat recovery as early as 1994.
Over the years, Pekotek Oy has delivered all of VR's surface treatment lines. At VR's plants, we started using 70-80% efficiency heat recovery as early as 1994. We also supplied VR with our first combi chamber, a combined grit blasting plant, in 1997.
The workshops have been closed, but one of the oldest painting lines in Pieksamäki has been operating for forty years. The plant has been expanded and modernized by us in several stages, most recently with the renewed dust extraction of the robotic blasting and the upgrade of the energy efficiency of ventilation. Depending on the type of train carriage, up to three different blowing materials have been blown in Pieksamäki, circulating in the same chamber.
